Designed using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and validated in the wind tunnel, the frame delivers class-leading aero performance with a drag coefficient (CdA) of just 0.207 in race setup.
At a frame weight of just 830g (painted, size 54cm), the OSTRO VAM sits among the lightest aero road frames on the market. Advanced carbon lay-up techniques, incorporating high-modulus and ultra-high modulus fibres, are precisely oriented to maximize lateral and torsional stiffness while minimizing unnecessary material. The result is a stiffness-to-weight ratio that rivals pure climbing bikes, ensuring immediate power transfer under load.
Rider comfort is tuned via strategically placed low-modulus carbon zones and a seatpost engineered to flex subtly over rough surfaces, reducing fatigue on long rides. Every frame is produced in our own manufacturing facility, giving us complete control over lay-up quality, resin content, and dimensional tolerances down to fractions of a millimeter.
The OSTRO VAM has been refined through direct input from WorldTour athletes, and battle-tested across monuments, Grand Tours, and high mountain stages. This isn’t just an aero bike that climbs—it’s a climbing bike that cuts through the wind.
