Short chainstays, a steep head tube angle, and a compact wheelbase give the bike a quick, agile feel. A lowered bottom bracket helps improve stability and lowers the center of gravity, especially when running higher-volume gravel tyres.
Tube shapes and carbon lay-up have been carefully engineered to provide stiffness where it counts and compliance where it matters — resulting in a ride that feels precise but comfortable.
The ALUTO offers a confident mix of sharp handling and all-round capability — a versatile machine that feels light, fast, and ready for whatever the ride brings.
Geometry Optimised for Control and Agility
Increasing tyre clearance isn’t just about widening the fork and seatstays. Larger tyres affect handling and overall geometry, so the ALUTO has been specifically designed around 47mm tyres, with a maximum rear clearance of 52 mm (measured). This ensures the handling stays precise and responsive, rather than feeling sluggish.
Compared to the OSTRO Gravel, the ALUTO runs a slightly steeper head tube angle and equally short chainstays, helping maintain a shorter wheelbase for quicker handling. The bottom bracket is lowered, which brings the centre of gravity down, improving stability and helping balance the quick handling across mixed terrain.
The stack height is slightly higher than on the OSTRO Gravel, giving riders more flexibility in fit while still allowing for a race-oriented position when needed.
